Charlton Athletic secure Australian midfielder Leah Davidson
Charlton Athletic have moved to strengthen their midfield by signing Australian international Leah Davidson on a two‑year deal, bringing her from A‑League Women’s side Melbourne City after six seasons in Australia where she collected three consecutive league titles and over 100 appearances.

The 25‑year‑old midfielder also holds four caps for the Australian national side, highlighting her international pedigree.
Davidson is Charlton’s second signing this week, arriving after goalkeeper Anna Koivunen joined from Djurgårdens IF, signalling a clear recruitment push by the club.
"I am so excited to be here and be a part of something so special," Davidson said. "I spent six years at Melbourne City. I loved it, grew as a player and a person, but I thought: 'I can't say no to this opportunity.'"
