Champion LASK dominate GAK in Bundesliga season opener

Champion LASK opened the new Fußball‑Bundesliga‑Saison with a 3‑0 home victory over GAK in front of 13 241 zuschauern and zuschauerinnen on Freitagabend, scoring before the Halbzeit break thanks to a Doppelpack from Samuel Adeniran and a late finish by Christoph Lang.

Samuel Adeniran found the back of the net at the 20th and 29th Minute (the latter a foul‑penalty) before the Pause, giving the Linzer a clear Kurs and delighting both zuschauer and zuschauerinnen.

Christoph Lang added the third goal in the 79th Minute, providing the final Schlusspunkt and cementing the 3‑0 Endstand.

GAK fielded four Neue: Matthias Gragger replacing the injured Tim Trummer, Liam Hermesh, former LASK favourite Peter Michorl in central midfield, and goalkeeper Cican Stankovic, a former ÖFB‑Teamgoalie who returned after a year without a club and five years away from league action.
