Celtic bolster defence with NI star Fi Morgan from Cliftonville

Celtic have secured Northern Ireland centre‑back Fi Morgan, the 22‑year‑old who logged over 100 appearances for Cliftonville, signing her from the north Belfast club after she progressed through the Reds academy and debuted in 2019. The move follows her earlier transfer to Grant Scott's side from Nottingham Forest earlier in the window.
Morgan progressed through the Reds academy, breaking into senior football in 2019. Her development at the club laid the foundation for a prolific spell in the Irish league.
During her tenure at Cliftonville she amassed more than 100 appearances, capturing two Women's Premiership crowns, two Irish Cups, four League Cups and a County Antrim Cup.
Internationally, Morgan has earned three caps for NI, adding experience at the senior national level.
At Celtic she will join fellow Northern Ireland international Casey Howe in the Hoops midfield, strengthening the club’s defensive options.
Morgan’s arrival follows her earlier transfer to Grant Scott's side from Nottingham Forest earlier in the window, highlighting the club’s active recruitment.
