Defender Alisson Santos completes permanent move to Napoli

Alisson Santos finalized his permanent transfer from Sporting CP to SSC Napoli on Friday.

The Brazilian left-back agreed terms and signed the deal, ending months of negotiations. Napoli activated his €12m release clause from Sporting’s contract.

Alisson Santos becomes Napoli’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window. The club also signed defenders Amir Rrahmani and Mathys Tel earlier in the window.

Sporting CP receives €12m for the permanent transfer. The fee matches the release clause agreed in his initial contract.

Alisson Santos is the third Brazilian to join Napoli this summer. He joins Victor Osimhen and Juan Jesus in the squad.

Napoli’s technical director confirmed the deal in a club statement. The defender is expected to feature prominently under coach Francesco Calzona.
