Canal+ secures UEFA Champions, Europa and Conference rights in Africa

On August 5, Canal+ announced it has acquired the exclusive rights to UEFA's men’s club competitions across a wide swathe of sub‑Saharan Africa, with broadcasts to be shown solely on its channel. The package will run for four seasons, from 2027/28 through 2030/31, and includes the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Youth League and the Super Cup.

The agreement covers the flagship Champions League as well as the Europa and Conference tournaments, ensuring that fans in the region can follow all three premier UEFA club competitions without interruption.
