Bayern Munich's Kane one step away from CR7's Champions League record

On the evening of yesterday, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane drew close to the most prestigious European record: he is missing just one match to match the run of 11 consecutive appearances with a goal in the Champions League set by Cristiano Ronaldo, also known as CR7.

Ronaldo set this historic milestone during his spell at Real Madrid, scoring in 11 consecutive matches of the tournament.

Kane, captain of England, has already amassed 16 goals and 8 assists in just 15 appearances wearing the Bavarian shirt in the 2026/2027 season, an exceptional start.
