Barça, Spurs and Arsenal vie for WK-smaakmaker Antonio Nusa

🇬🇧 By 4AllFootball Editorial ·

Barça, Spurs and Arsenal are all circling the WK-smaakmaker Antonio Nusa as the summer transfer window approaches. The 21‑year‑old Norwegian, who impressed at the 2026 WK, is valued at just over 50 million euros currently in the market, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have both set their sights on the RB Leipzig attacker. Both Londense clubs have tracked Nusa for some time, while Leipzig is said to demand a transfer sum exceeding 50 million euros.

FC Barcelona also monitors the situation of the Noorse WK-ganger, though a move to the Premier League appears the most likely outcome. Barça’s attention reflects the player’s rising profile after his performances for Norway.

Nusa broke through at Club Brugge after the Belgian side bought him from Norwegian Stabæk in the summer of 2021 for roughly 5.7 million euros. He logged 86 matches for the Belgian top club, scoring seven times and providing six assists. In August 2024, he moved to the Bundesliga-club RB Leipzig for about 21 million euros, adding 71 official appearances, ten goals and eleven assists.

Internationally, the Noorwegen winger has become a regular, with 29 caps and nine goals. At the 2026 WK he started one group match and was subbed on after halftime against Frankrijk, scoring his sole tournament goal versus Ivoorkust.

Both sides – the Premier League hopefuls and Barça – are now in a race, and the outcome will shape Nusa’s next career chapter. The coming weeks will determine whether the WK-smaakmaker stays in Germany, heads to England, or joins the Catalan giants.
