Bakayoko has no future at Leipzig, Valencia as a move in January

According to the newspaper Deportivo, Johan Bakayoko has fallen out of favour at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Valencia is emerging as the loan option for January, after only 144 minutes played in three matches this season, the Belgian, who arrived under Jürgen Klopp's blessing, is now looking to regain prominence.
Bakayoko is practically out of coach Martín Demichelis's plans and the German club is considering facilitating his exit in the winter market. The Belgian winger arrived at Leipzig as a gamble backed by Klopp, former global football director of Red Bull. Bakayoko was a revelation in Europe before falling into obscurity in the Bundesliga.
Details of the possible transfer
The deal with PSV Eindhoven was closed for 22 million euros and guarantees him a contract until 2030. Apparently, Leipzig could accept a fee of 12 million for his departure. With Braulio Vázquez at the head of the sporting structure, Valencia is considering a loan to Mestalla as the preferred route due to its economic constraints. A loan to Mestalla would allow Valencia to strengthen its flanks without compromising its budget.
This season he has barely accumulated 144 minutes spread over three matches and has not recorded any goals or assists. His last appearance was in early September against Werder Bremen, and since then he has alternated between the bench and the stands. Competition on the wings has favoured Brajan Gruda, Tidiam Gomis and Andrija Maksimovic, who have earned the Argentine coach's preference.
Bakayoko arrived late to a squad meeting, which caused an incident that Martín Demichelis acknowledged. The coach said: «He made a small mistake. But that stays between us». The episode added tension to a situation that, according to sources, does not seem to have a way back.
Young prospect in Valencia's academy
While the sporting director seeks options on the market, the name of academy graduate Abdou Salam Seye is beginning to resonate strongly in the Academy. The 18-year-old Senegalese striker stands out in Paterna, with seven goals in six matches of the División de Honor Juvenil A. Coming from the Senegalese academy Be Sport, Seye signed a contract until 2028 with an option to extend it by two more seasons. In the previous campaign he scored five goals and provided two assists in nine matches.
