Atalanta pushes for Noa Lang loan as Napoli eyes striker exit

Fabrizio Romano Lang notes that Genoa-Napoli L'Atalanta is insisting on a loan for the Dutch striker Noa Lang, with Napoli planning to send him to Genoa for the upcoming clash before deciding his final destination, according to the Stampa A&minus A+ Calciomercato report.

Ultime news from the Calciomercato indicate that Il Napoli has expressed the need to off‑load an attacker, with the Dutch forward Noa Lang identified as the primary candidate and Lucca mentioned as an alternative. No decisive offers have materialised yet, and the club has not confirmed any concrete move.

Ajax and Galatasaray step back

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, both Ajax and Galatasaray have withdrawn from the race for the blue‑shirted striker. Their interest faded amid other suitors emerging, leaving Atalanta as the remaining club with a clear intention.

Romano quoted Atalanta as insisting heavily on securing a loan for Lang, stating that the Turkish side Galatasaray is not their first choice. He added that negotiations with Ajax have stalled due to a formula issue, and Napoli currently prefers not to loan the player.

The report says Lang will travel with Genoa for the Genoa‑Napoli fixture, after which his future will be reassessed from the following week until the market closes. Atalanta hopes to finalise the arrangement during that period.
