Aston Villa bids €17m for Almería midfielder Dion Lopy

Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery, have offered €17 million for Senegalese midfielder Dion Lopy.

Almería have set a €20 million price tag for his transfer.

Lopy is described as a structural piece of Almería’s squad.

Villa’s €17 million bid is €3 million lower than Almería’s asking price.

Almería have indicated they will only negotiate if the €20 million demand is met.

The clubs must agree on the €20 million fee before any transfer can be completed.

The offer and demand are both expressed in euros.

The negotiation concerns the exit of Lopy from Almería.
