After the break, PSG resumes its march towards the Champions League

After a long international break, Paris Saint-Germain returned to competition by beating a valiant Le Mans side on Saturday night (3-1). This victory allows the Parisians to continue their climb up the Ligue 1 table and consolidate their form ahead of the upcoming European challenges.

Luis Enrique's players dominated the match, opening the scoring in the first half and maintaining control of the game until the end. Despite the favorable result, the club remains sixth in the league, a position that still reflects a gap to close for the club's ambitions.

Progress in the Champions League

In parallel, the Parisians currently lead the Champions League group stage thanks to their big win (6-1) against Slovan Bratislava on matchday one. This performance puts the club at the top of the group, boosting confidence ahead of the next match.

Next challenge against Manchester City

This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain will travel to Manchester City's pitch, a big winner over Liverpool this weekend and in great form. The Spanish coach will be able to rely on all of his senior players for this decisive duel.

Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes, rested this weekend, are indeed in the squad, while Désiré Doué, Vitinha and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will be on the field.

Only two absences to note: Senny Mayulu and Alessandro Longoni, both injured, will not be able to join the starting eleven.
