Allegri praises King Kev for two goals, still sees room for Noa Lang
Kevin De Bruyne, the Red Devil, delivered two goals for Napoli and set the club on the way to a convincing 3‑0 victory over Frosinone. Napoli coach Massimiliano Allegri praised the Belgian as ‘King Kev’ and already spoke about areas for improvement, also for Noa Lang.
De Bruyne scored both goals in the first half, becoming the decisive factor of the evening. His movements and finishing gave Frosinone’s defence no chance. With the win, Napoli resumed the league after the international break and got a boost.
Allegri's tactical insights
Allegri explained that De Bruyne works best when he plays slightly deeper in midfield. “He played, like the others, an excellent match. He gives us more advantages in midfield than when we position him higher up the pitch,” said the coach.
The coach praised the aggressive approach of his team at the start, but felt that more could have been made of the created chances. “We had a good approach and were very aggressive in the beginning, but we should have taken better advantage of the chances we created,” analyzed Allegri. After the break Napoli still left opportunities on the table to further extend the score.

Defensive focus points
Allegri also highlighted defensive issues, as Napoli allowed too many shots from outside the penalty area. He emphasized that the organization behind their own goal still needs improvement.
Noa Lang: growing contribution
Noa Lang also found the nets and delivered a goal in the 3‑0 win, a boost for the Dutchman. “I try to talk to him a lot. He has so far contributed less than he could have, and he is responsible for that,” said Allegri. He added: “I often tell him: God helps you if you help yourself. He has a lot of potential and can shoot better.”

For the upcoming matches Allegri remains satisfied, but warns that there is still room for progress in both efficiency and defensive organization. Napoli can therefore look back on a positive start, while the manager continues to seek optimisation.
