Agents in Rome as Chelsea co‑owner weighs two Roma bids for Summerville
Crysencio Summerville’s representatives have already arrived in Italy, with Sky Sport Italia reporting they are in Rome and set to meet Roma directors in the coming days, while Chelsea co‑owner Behdad Eghbali is reviewing two separate offers from the Giallorossi for the West Ham winger.
Roma’s transfer strategy centres on three attacking targets: Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea, Diego Moreira of Strasbourg and Summerville, currently at West Ham. The club has dispatched formal proposals for both Garnacho and Moreira alongside the interest in Summerville.
Sky Sport transfer analyst Gianluca Di Marzio noted that Summerville’s agents are the same representatives handling Danilo Doekhi, who is undergoing medical examinations with Lazio before finalising a free transfer. This link underscores the agents’ active involvement in Serie A negotiations.
Roma chase two wingers as Premier League star Garnacho enters talks
According to the report, Roma have already opened discussions with West Ham regarding the availability of the Netherlands international this summer. The Giallorossi are therefore pursuing multiple fronts to secure their desired attacking reinforcements. Chelsea and Strasbourg share common ownership, meaning the proposals sent by Roma are being examined by co‑owner Behdad Eghbali, who holds stakes in both clubs. Eghbali’s dual role adds a layer of complexity to the decision‑making process. Jorge Mendes, the agent for both Garnacho and Moreira, is currently in talks with Eghbali to persuade him to accept Roma’s offers. Mendes’ involvement highlights the high‑profile nature of the potential moves.
