€55m price tag fuels Savinho’s push to leave Manchester City
Manchester City value winger Savinho at €55 million as the 22‑year‑old Brazilian submits a formal transfer request to leave the club this summer. The request signals his desire to find regular first‑team football after a season of limited opportunities at the Etihad Stadium.
Savinho, a Brazil international, is unhappy with his bit‑part role at Manchester City and wants to move elsewhere in search of regular first‑team football. He has spent the last year seeking a departure.
He fell out of favour under Pep Guardiola ahead of the 2025‑26 season. The arrival of Antoine Semenyo further pushed him down the pecking order, leaving him with just 14 appearances since the turn of the year.
The former Girona man recorded five goals and three assists in 39 appearances across all competitions last season.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano the 22‑year‑old star wants Manchester City to allow him to leave.
Tottenham Hotspur will re‑enter talks with Manchester City, having retained interest since 2025 and previously making an unsuccessful approach last summer. New manager Roberto De Zerbi is also interested, and the club is expected to submit a fresh offer this summer.
AC Milan are monitoring the situation, but their Serie A rivals lack the financial muscle to match Tottenham’s resources, limiting their ability to compete for Savinho.
