Roma's firm stance: Brazilian winger Wesley remains unsellable

🇮🇹

AS Roma have made clear that Brazilian winger Wesley, born in 2003, is not for sale, rejecting interest from Inter, Chelsea and other European clubs. The Giallorossi’s position, confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, leaves no room for negotiations on the player’s future.

Roma consider Wesley unsellable and state the club has no intention of considering his possible departure.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter have shown no interest, and Roma is responding the same way to all teams inquiring about the 2003‑born player.

This stance rules out any potential negotiations with the Nerazzurri.

Roma also applied the same approach with Chelsea, who conducted a survey about ten days ago to gauge willingness to discuss the transfer.

On that occasion, the response from Trigoria was negative: Wesley is not considered transferable.

Interest from some of Europe’s leading clubs has therefore not changed Roma’s plans.

The club continues to view the winger as a player worth investing in and, at least for now, is not willing to begin discussions about a possible sale.

This firm position suggests that Wesley will remain at Roma throughout the upcoming season.
