Juventus’ capital gains force sales as McTominay stays put at Napoli

Juventus are under pressure to register capital gains after naming four players for sale: Miretti (€15m), Di Gregorio (€15m), Cabal (€7m) and Gatti (€20-25m). Matteo Moretto told Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel that Juventus still monitor Muharemovic, holding 50% of his future sale rights, but are prioritising other deals. The midfielder remains a target abroad despite Juve’s preferential channel. Inter have opened talks to extend Pio Esposito’s contract until 2030, with his current net earnings of €1.1-1.2m per season. Agent Mario Giuffredi confirmed harmony between club and player in the renewal process. Franco Carboni is close to Parma on a possible four-year deal, with both parties aiming to finalise the transfer soon. Napoli face a tough task to sign Scott McTominay from Real Madrid, who value the Scot at €80m. Mourinho’s side appreciate McTominay, but the player is in talks to stay at Napoli after the club tabled an offer. Roma’s Matias Soulé has rejected a move to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli, reiterating his ambition to remain in Europe’s top leagues for national-team consideration. Lazio are set to appoint Angelo Peruzzi as Technical Director on a one-year contract, returning to the Biancocelesti after his previous spell from 2016 to 2021. Fiorentina’s transfer targets include Napoli’s Noa Lang and Leipzig’s Johan Bakayoko, though both options carry significant cost barriers. Cancellieri remains a cheaper alternative but not a priority for sporting director Paratici.
