€5m fee highlights Monaco's left‑back exits, Ouattara to Beşiktaş

🇫🇷

A €5 million fee has been disclosed for Portugal youth international Nazinho’s transfer to AS Monaco, while 21‑year‑old French youth international Kassoum Ouattara has signed a four‑year contract to join Turkish giants Beşiktaş, the Principality club confirmed on Thursday. The deal marks the Turkish side’s first signing of the window.

Ouattara becomes the second left‑back to depart AS Monaco this transfer window. Earlier in the week, Brazilian Caio Henrique left the club to join Ajax Amsterdam.

Last season, Ouattara served as backup to Caio Henrique in the left‑back role. His limited minutes were part of the reason for seeking regular football elsewhere.

The 21‑year-old arrived from SC Amiens in November 2023. Since then he has featured in 57 matches for Monaco, scoring once and providing seven assists.

The Beşiktaş contract marks Ouattara’s first professional move outside France. He will join Beşiktaş after completing his Monaco duties this season.

Monaco also announced the signing of Portugal youth international Nazinho. The winger arrived from partner club Cercle Brugge in a deal valued at €5 million.

These transfers illustrate the Principality club’s strategy of monetising academy products amid a competitive European market. Turkish side Beşiktaş continues to target young talent, reinforcing its squad ahead of the upcoming season.
