UBB Bordeaux parade after Champions Cup win

Thousands gathered in Bordeaux on Sunday to welcome Union Bordeaux Bègles (UBB) players following their Champions Cup victory over Leinster. The 41-19 final win marked UBB’s second consecutive European title.

The parade through Bordeaux celebrated the club’s back-to-back Champions Cup triumphs. Leinster captain Johnny Sexton led his team in the final, held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

UBB’s triumph capped a dominant European campaign. The club secured wins against Saracens and Toulouse en route to the final.

Head coach Christophe Urios guided UBB to the title. Urios, who joined in 2017, has transformed the club into a European force.

The celebration included speeches from club officials and players. UBB president Laurent Marti praised the team’s resilience and dedication.

UBB’s next challenge is the Top 14 domestic league. The club remains in contention for the French title.
