Nice eye €20m windfall as Cho joins Hull City in Premier League

🇬🇧 By 4AllFootball ·

OGC Nice are on the brink of sealing what could become their biggest summer sale, as 22‑year‑old winger Mohamed‑Ali Cho is set to move to Hull City for an estimated €20 million. The deal would give the French club a major financial boost.

OGC Nice confirmed that they are very close to finalising the transfer operation. The move represents a significant step in the club’s summer activity.

L’Équipe reported that the transfer fee is estimated at €20 million. The figure would make the 22‑year‑old the most expensive summer departure in Nice’s recent history.

At €20 million, Cho would become the biggest summer sale for the Gym, Nice’s nickname. The windfall would surpass any other outgoing deal this window.

Cho originally joined Nice from Real Sociedad for roughly half that amount. The French side therefore stands to make a substantial profit on the player.

Beyond the sporting impact, the cash influx would give Nice extra financial leeway to pursue further signings. The club can use the margin to reinforce its squad during the market.

Hull City, newly promoted to the Premier League, are eager to invest in Cho’s potential. The English club sees his speed and striking ability as assets for their top‑flight campaign.

Despite modest Ligue 1 statistics, Ali’s pace and finishing continue to attract interest. Hull hopes the winger can translate his qualities into Premier League success.
