Napoli sign Rasmus Hojlund for €50 million

Napoli have completed the permanent signing of Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United for €50 million. The transfer was announced by both clubs on Wednesday. The deal follows a successful loan spell at Napoli.

The 23‑year‑old striker tallied 16 goals in 44 matches in all competitions last season. His performances were instrumental in Napoli winning the Italian Super Cup.

Hojlund also played a key role as Napoli finished as Serie A runners‑up. Manchester United received the €50 million fee.

Napoli will integrate Hojlund into their squad for the upcoming Serie A campaign. The club will register him for the new season's competitions.
