Peter Bosz Open to Leaving PSV for Elite Club
Peter Bosz said PSV is likely his final assignment as club coach, but he does not completely rule out a mid‑season exit if a top foreign club approaches.
He named clubs such as FC Barcelona and Manchester City as examples of the caliber that could trigger a move.
Bosz signed a new contract in the spring that runs until mid‑2028, with an agreement that an exceptional transfer can be discussed.
He clarified that the Netherlands national team is not part of that arrangement; he enjoys his role at PSV and has extended his deal for two more years.
Bosz admitted he seriously considered the Dutch head‑coach job if the KNVB had approached him after the World Cup, but he could not wait for that opportunity.
The future of Ronald Koeman after the World Cup and the current national‑team coach’s intentions remain unclear.
He also spoke about his good friendship with Ajax technical director Jordi Cruijff, who has never tried to lure him back to Ajax.
Bosz said Cruijff deliberately avoided any approach because he sees Bosz content at PSV.
