€130 million could unlock PSG’s chase for Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé
€130 million is the sum PSG would need to persuade RB Leipzig to release 19‑year‑old winger Yan Diomandé, who is contracted until 2030, who netted 13 goals and added 10 assists in 36 appearances in the 2025‑26 season, favours a move to Paris.
Diomandé says he is impressed by the project overseen by Nasser Al‑Khelaïfi and sporting director Luis Campos at PSG. He also expressed a desire to work under manager Luis Enrique.
The winger believes that joining PSG would boost his prospects of winning team trophies. He added that the move could also improve his chances of earning individual accolades such as the Ballon d’Or.
PSG are reportedly very keen on securing Diomandé’s services, but they must first persuade RB Leipzig to release him. Leipzig currently hold his registration until 2030, making any departure dependent on a satisfactory agreement.
Liverpool FC have already tabled an offer of around €100 million, which Leipzig rejected. The English club’s reaction to the new €130 million figure remains to be seen.
The Athletic’s report, authored by Léo Aschi, outlines the financial and sporting considerations surrounding the potential transfer. It highlights how the €130 million fee could be the decisive factor in the negotiations.
