João Palhinha targets permanent Tottenham Hotspur deal

João Palhinha expressed a desire to remain at Tottenham Hotspur after scoring the winning goal against Everton that secured the club's Premier League survival on Sunday. The midfielder is on a season‑long loan from Bayern Munich.

Tottenham hold an option to sign Palhinha permanently for €30 million (£26 million). Manager Roberto De Zerbi said he “100 %” wants the deal completed.

Palhinha confirmed he is open to a permanent move. His season‑long loan would end if Tottenham trigger the clause.

If the clause is activated, Palhinha will sign a full contract for the 2024‑25 campaign. The transfer would conclude his affiliation with Bayern Munich.
