Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s career quiz tests knowledge of his nine clubs
Zlatan Ibrahimovic featured in a Serie A match between Juventus and Messina at the Stadio delle Alpi in Turin, Italy, and is hailed as one of his generation’s finest strikers. A new quiz asks fans to name every club the Sweden international has represented – nine in total, not counting QPR – since his senior debut in 1999.
The nine‑club challenge
The quiz gives participants ten minutes and only the years he spent at each side as clues. Organisers believe anyone who concentrates can name all nine clubs, just as they managed to do themselves.
Ibrahimovic’s retirement reflections
During his retirement speech Ibrahimovic said, “For the moment I just want to take time and enjoy what I’ve done. I think it’s not right to make a decision in a hurry, there’s too much emotion. I want to take the summer, enjoy it, reflect on what I’ve done.”
He added, “Then, with calm down, let’s see. Being a coach or director is a great responsibility. When you’re a footballer you have more chances to be yourself, as a coach you are more limited. I can’t come in a Ferrari as a coach, or maybe Ibra can….”
Finally, Ibrahimovic remarked, “Let’s change the rules a little. I don’t think I’m leaving football in general, but if I enter it I have to make the ladder from scratch and grow. It doesn’t mean I’ll be a top coach.”
The quiz platform boasts an archive of over 1,000 quizzes, all playable in full‑screen mode, and invites users to try naming the 40 top scorers in Champions League history after completing this challenge.
Participants are encouraged to tweet their scores to @planetfutebol, sharing how many clubs they correctly identified.
Next up is a quiz asking fans to name every Champions League final goalscorer since 2000.
