Zinedine Zidane reshuffles the Blues for Belgium in Brussels

Zinédine Zidane, nicknamed Zizou, has announced the lineup of the French national team to face Belgium at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. The new manager has practically changed everything, keeping only the captain goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

A complete overhaul of the eleven

In defence, Jérémy Jacquet gets his first start alongside Lacroix, retained, while Andy Diouf, newly capped on the left, and Pierre Kalulu, on the right, fill the flanks. In midfield, Eduardo Camavinga returns, Akliouche makes his debut, and Lucas Da Cunha also receives his first call‑up, forming a midfield that is 100 % left‑footed.

In attack, three new heads replace the Turkish line: Doué, Lepaul and Barcola form the offensive trio, bringing the number of players trained at Stade Rennais among the starting eleven to five. On the Belgian side, two changes occur with the introduction of Lavia and Seys, who replace Raskin and De Cuyper.

The kickoff is scheduled for 20:45. This update confirms that the manager has chosen to rotate the squad “wide‑open”, as he had announced.
