Zero offers trap Inter as Luis Henrique remains idle
Inter Milan find their transfer window stalled: Asllani is one step from a loan move to Al‑Jazira, Massolin is set for a loan to French clubs, and Luis Henrique has received zero offers after the Roma negotiation collapsed.
Departures for Asllani and Massolin
Albanian forward Asllani is poised to join Al‑Jazira of the United Arab Emirates on a loan that includes an option to buy, which can become an obligation under certain conditions. The move would see him leave the Nerazzurri after a season of limited impact.
Mid‑fielder Massolin will definitely leave on loan, with three French clubs currently contesting his signature. The club expects the loan to free up a roster spot and reduce the wage bill.
Luis Henrique stuck amid stalled Roma deal
Brazilian striker Luis Henrique remains without offers, as Inter’s attempted deal with Roma has definitively stalled, eliminating the chance to free the necessary squad slot for a fifth attacker with different attributes.
The club’s leadership is close to off‑loading two surplus players, but the collapsed Roma negotiation means the slot for the coveted fifth striker cannot be created.
Inter has heavily invested on the right flank, first through technical work by Chivu that transformed Diouf from a modest midfielder into a sprinting winger, and then financially by signing Spence from Tottenham for 30 million euros plus a 5 million bonus and a 10 percent future resale clause.
Because of this investment, space for Luis Henrique will shrink sharply. He hopes to play on the opposite wing to last season but must first compete with Dimarco and the valuable joker Carlos Augusto.
The club’s market brief describes the ideal target as a “dribblomane”, an attacker capable of beating defenders, operating on the wing or in a more advanced supporting role. Luis Henrique has been told he does not fit either the technical or tactical plans.
Nevertheless, head of technical staff Chivu may still find a new role for the Brazilian, just as he did with Diouf, should the situation change.
