Zenden praises Kvaratskheli's unpredictable wing players at PSG and Díaz at Bayern

On a sunny afternoon in the training hall of the Belgian national team, Boudewijn Zenden explains how he enjoys two of the most unpredictable wingers in international top football: Khvicha Kvaratskhelias of Paris Saint‑Germain and Luis Díaz of Bayern Munich.

Duality as the key

Zenden, the Limburg former professional, emphasizes that Kvaratskhelias possesses an enormous duality at the Georgian side. “He is the textbook example of unpredictability at the absolute top. Kvaratskhelias can postpone what he does until the very last moment,” he says in an interview with the Algemeen Dagblad.

The assistant national coach of Belgium also points to Díaz. “Luis Díaz stands out positively among today’s wingers. He arrived at Bayern Munich and was immediately like a fish in water,” Zenden explains.

For Zenden, the move of Díaz from Liverpool to the German powerhouse went smoothly, a fact he attributes to the Colombian player's calm adaptation.

The former striker has worked extensively with PSV legend Cody Gakpo during his career and at that time also tried out various tricks for wingers, drawing inspiration, among others, from Bayern player Dáaz.

Next week, Díaz departs on Tuesday with Bayern for the surprising Viking FK, while Kvaratskhelias with PSG prepares for the crucial match against Manchester City.
