World Cup fever meets Juve keeper chase, Napoli Meret talks

There are only a few hours left until the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, while Juventus continue their search for a new goalkeeper and Napoli prepare to renew Alex Meret’s contract, and Pervis Estupiñán’s future at Milan hangs in the balance.

The third‑place playoff between France and England delivered plenty of entertainment, and now the world watches the Albiceleste face the very young Roja in the final showdown.

Juventus are actively eyeing two keepers to replace Dibu Martínez, with Anatolij Trubin of Benfica and Filip Jorgensen of Chelsea on their shortlist.

Benfica have set a price tag of at least €30 million for Trubin, whose contract runs until 2028, a figure Juventus may deem steep.

Chelsea have reportedly offered Jorgensen to the Bianconeri; the 2002‑born Danish goalkeeper is praised for his qualities and growth potential despite less international experience than Trubin.

At Milan, the future of Ecuadorian left‑back Pervis Estupiñán remains uncertain. La dello Sport reports Aston Villa showed interest, but talks are on hold pending new coach Ruben Amorim’s assessment during the training camp.

Napoli, under Massimiliano Allegri, have confirmed Alex Meret as the starting goalkeeper. Il Mattino notes a meeting between sporting director Giovanni Manna and agent Federico Pastorello to discuss Meret’s contract renewal, alongside talks about Romelu Lukaku.

Across Italy’s summer market, clubs such as Inter, Roma and Lazio are also active, but the headline stories remain Juventus’s keeper hunt, Napoli’s Meret negotiations, and Estupiñán’s Milan dilemma.
