Wolves lock in London City Lionesses star Emily Orman on loan

Wolverhampton Wanderers have secured London City Lionesses goalkeeper Emily Orman on a season‑long loan for the 2026/27 campaign, a move announced on the club’s official website this evening. The 23‑year‑old, who transferred from Chelsea to the Lionesses in the summer of 2024, brings top‑flight experience to Wolves.

Wolves’ head of Women & Girls, Russ Fraser, explained that Orman adds a wealth of experience despite her youth, noting that competition among the club’s goalkeepers is already incredibly strong. He described the signing as a statement of ambition ahead of the club’s first season in WSL 2.

Orman helped The Pride capture the Barclays WSL title in her debut season after moving from Chelsea, confirming her pedigree at the highest domestic level. She also featured in 18 league matches during the Lionesses’ promotion‑winning campaign, underscoring her consistency.

On the international stage, Orman has represented England from the younger age groups up to the Under‑23 side. She earned caps at each of those levels.
