William Saliba returns to Arsenal but his future remains uncertain

William Saliba finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel, a sign of a long‑awaited return. After several months away from the green rectangle, the French central defender has resumed collective training with Arsenal this Tuesday.
Absence due to injury
The former Marseille player had been unavailable since July 14. This unavailability was due to a back injury during the World Cup semi‑final against Spain, which the Blues lost 0‑2.
This first step is encouraging for the number two, who will nevertheless need to be patient before stepping onto the pitches again. Despite this comeback, his presence in the Gunners' squad to face Slavia Prague on Wednesday in the Champions League still looks uncertain.
Arsenal's staff should not take any risks with the player after this period of unavailability. This setback could also affect his short‑term future with the national team.
Indeed, Saliba's selection looks hardly feasible for the upcoming international break. The two Nations League matches under Zinedine Zidane against Italy and Turkey are scheduled for November 12 and 15.
The Bondy native's return is therefore becoming clearer, but the competition will still have to wait.
