Why Dortmund’s Asllani move could still happen this summer
The 24‑year‑old Kosovar forward Fisnik Asllani remains on Borussia Dortmund’s Zettel, and Darum the club believes the Transfer could still materialise under the right Voraussetzungen. The Hoffenheim‑Stürmers has yet to leave TSG Hoffenheim, but Dortmund’s sport director Ole Book is convinced the Angreifers can develop further, keeping the Personalie alive until the Ende of the Transferperiode.
Dortmund keeps Asllani on the list
A recent Bericht in the Borussia Dortmund continues to keep the 24‑year‑old forward on its Liste. The Hoffenheim‑Stürmers remains under contract with TSG Hoffenheim, but BVB’s interest has not faded despite the earlier collapse of the Wechsel.
Deal structures and squad implications
Ole Book, Dortmund’s sport director, plays a key Rolle in the pursuit. He worked with Asllani at SV Elversberg and says the Kosovar’s qualities convince Dortmunds hierarchy that the Stürmer can raise his market value.
Within the BVB squad, Asllani is seen as a potential successor to Serhou Guirassy, offering a fresh option in the striker department as the current Stürmer ages.
The club is also weighing a loan deal with an obligatory purchase clause. In such Umständen the financial load could be shifted to a later fiscal year, easing the immediate impact on Dortmund’s budget.
Asllani himself has indicated that a Wechsel to the BVB would be welcomed, showing openness to leave Hoffenheim‑Stürmers if the conditions align.
Further movement may arise if the Dortmund attack changes. Fabio Silva is linked with a move to Spain; should the Portuguese leave, Guirassy would become the sole classic striker in the lineup, prompting Dortmund to react. A lucrative short‑term offer from Saudi Arabia for Guirassy has also not been ruled out.
Earlier this summer, Asllani was close to joining RB Leipzig, but after medical examinations the Saxons withdrew. Juventus Turin has also been mentioned as an interested party. Hoffenheim currently expects the Angreifers to stay, yet his future remains undecided.
