Why Carlo Laudisa calls Allegri’s Milan exit unthinkable

Perché Carlo Laudisa calls the departure of Massimiliano Allegri from Milan unthinkable, linking the coach’s future to SSC Napoli after a dramatic exit discussed on Radio Tutto SSC Napoli.

The analysis suggests Allegri’s desire for redemption stems from a season riddled with internal tensions.

A chaotic environment at Milan, contributed significantly to his decision to leave.

Speaking on Radio Tutto SSC Napoli, Laudisa outlined that the exit followed a campaign characterised by pervasive tensions and internal difficulties throughout the season.

He observed that relations between the institutional director and Allegri deteriorated, and this loss of trust was a key factor in the departure.

“A coach who wants redemption, precisely because of that unexpected ending. If Milan had qualified for the Champions, Allegri would not be at SSC Napoli, because a renewal project was already in place,” Laudisa explained.

Laudisa added that the club’s internal self‑destruction was fueled by personal problems between the director and Allegri, creating agitators that hindered team cohesion.

“His ability to rebuild difficult groups is evident; however he needs to regain the confidence lost from March onward,” he said, highlighting Allegri’s managerial strengths and the need to restore confidence.

Looking ahead, Laudisa suggested Allegri must replicate the reconstruction work he performed at Juventus and at SSC Napoli under Conte, aiming to restore genuine belief to the Napoli side.

The commentary first appeared in a Google Discover feature titled “Fonti preferite” on Stampa A&- A+, underscoring the relevance of Laudisa’s perspective.
