Weston McKennie enjoys Oktoberfest during the international break

Weston McKennie, Juventus midfielder, took advantage of the international break for a short holiday in Germany, attending the Oktoberfest in Munich. He was not called up by the United States national team, a decision made by coach Mauricio Pochettino due to a recent muscle problem.

A break granted by Spalletti

Luciano Spalletti gave five days of rest to the players remaining with the squad, as Juventus will pause for two weekends because of national team commitments. McKennie was therefore able to travel and share on social media moments of dancing, loud singing and rides on the fairground attractions.

In his Instagram story, the American shows videos in which he dances and sings, followed by images of the park's attractions, demonstrating his enjoyment during the Bavarian trip.

McKennie's connection with Germany is deep: he lived in Kaiserslautern between the ages of six and nine, near Ramstein Air Base, where his father was stationed. He later wore the Schalke shirt from 2017 to 2020.

Juventus will resume training next week under Spalletti's guidance, ready to restart preparation for the upcoming commitments.
