Watanabe returns to Feyenoord, Moder's comeback nears

At Feyenoord's training, Tsuyoshi Watanabe was seen walking around full of confidence again, a clear contrast with his absence against AZ last weekend. The Japanese defender has fully recovered and is ready for the Champions League match against Como on Wednesday.

Jakub Moder approaches his comeback

Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst reported that Polish midfielder Jakub Moder, who has been dealing with a knee injury for some time, is now training on the pitch again. Van Bronckhorst expects that Moder can join the match squad within a week, although it remains unclear whether he will start against Como.

Jordan Bos will remain out of the squad for a longer period. The defender is working individually on his rehabilitation and is still training on field 2, according to Van Bronckhorst. “It is going very positively and Bos feels good. He is mentally strong,” said the coach.

Gjivai Zechiël also received extra rest after a tiring performance against AZ. A rest day has helped him become fit again, according to Van Bronckhorst.

With a busy schedule, Van Bronckhorst wants to closely monitor his players' workload, but the good results make the squad eager to play more often.

Feyenoord hopes that with Watanabe's return and the possible involvement of Moder, they can successfully continue the busy European campaign.
