Veteran Neto heads to Juventus on short‑term deal after medical

Former Brazil goalkeeper Neto has arrived in Turin, ready to undergo a medical and sign a short‑term contract with Juventus that runs until the end of the season. Images (Getty) confirm his presence at the airport on the 27th.

The club plans to have him join training from the 28th, after the medical is completed. Juventus’ current first‑choice keeper is Gianluigi Vicario, while second‑choice Camil Grava suffered a right‑knee injury on the 19th, forcing a long‑term absence.

Neto, 37, previously served Juventus from the summer of 2015 to the summer of 2017, making 22 official appearances as Gianluigi Buffon’s backup. After a spell at Bournemouth and a recent free‑transfer departure from Botafogo, he is set to return to the Serie A side.
