United’s January push for Endrick meets Madrid’s refusal to sell
Manchester United have sharpened their pursuit of 19‑year‑old Brazilian forward Endrick, launching a final push to secure a January loan that could include a purchase option.
United’s proposed terms
According to Bernabeu Digital, the Premier League club wants the loan to carry an option to buy, giving them a route to a permanent transfer if the striker impresses. United are prepared to make an attractive financial proposal to convince the teenager to join Old Trafford.
Madrid’s stance
Real Madrid, however, are not prepared to relinquish permanent control of Endrick. The Spanish side prefers a straightforward loan without any purchase clause, hoping the forward gains experience elsewhere before returning to compete for a place.
Endrick’s limited minutes under Jose Mourinho this season have opened the door to a temporary departure. Earlier loan spells, such as his time at Lyon, provide a model for another short‑term move.
Other clubs, including AC Milan and Tottenham, have also been mentioned as potential destinations, but United remain the most vocal about securing the player this January.
United see Endrick as a solution to their early‑season goal‑scoring woes, believing his different dimension could boost attacking productivity.
Real Madrid’s reluctance to include a purchase option means negotiations could prove complicated, with the English side’s preferred terms becoming the biggest obstacle.
Both clubs acknowledge that any agreement will depend on the specific terms offered and Endrick’s own preferences, leaving his future uncertain as the January window approaches.
