Two‑goal burst fuels Bisiwu’s Barcelona breakthrough

Two goals in ten minutes marked Jesse Bisiwu’s first‑team debut for Barcelona after completing his transfer from Club Brugge at the end of July, a move that has generated considerable hype for the young winger’s sky‑high potential and has already attracted attention from senior squad members.

First‑team integration

The youngster made Hansi Flick’s pre‑season list last month and travelled with Barcelona for the first‑team’s friendly clashes. In the match against Basel he netted two goals within ten minutes of his appearance. His performance earned praise from the coaching staff.

Bisiwu described the training intensity as very high and all players as first‑class. He singled out Raphinha as the most impressive teammate in training, praising his 100 percent effort. He also named Lamine Yamal as a special talent and role model.

Regarding pressure, he said he tries not to set specific goals in a club where expectations are constant. When asked about his national allegiance, Bisiwu explained he has represented Belgium at youth level but also feels a link to Ghana.
