Turkey sacks Montella, Juventus extends González until 2030
On October 9, the Turkish Federation announced the split from Vincenzo Montella, while Juventus confirmed the renewal of Nico Gonzalez until June 30, 2030, creating a sharp contrast between a decision of termination and one of continuity.
Montella, former coach of Milan and Fiorentina, had been appointed head coach of the Turkish national team in September 2023. During his tenure he led Turkey to the quarter‑finals of Euro 2024 and the last World Cup, but disappointing results prompted the TFF to end the relationship.

Nico González celebrated the contract extension on social media, stating: "I am very happy to continue being part of this great family." The Argentine player emphasized the pride of remaining at the Old Lady, a club with a prestigious history and ambitious goals.

Torino intends to purchase Biondini outright in the winter window, then loan him back to Empoli until the end of the season. The granata, already interested last summer, may have to face a new offer.
Pablo Daniel Osvaldo recounted that an untreated cavity caused an infection that reached the right lung, forcing him into intensive care. After the tooth extraction surgery, he began his recovery process and said: "I haven’t been smoking for two weeks, I don’t think I’ll ever smoke again."
Osvaldo added that the experience has prompted him to reassess his habits, promising to pay greater attention to his health to avoid future problems.
