Turin Kolo Muani completes move as PSG agree Juventus deal

Turin Kolo Muani is set to depart Paris Saint-Germain for Juventus within 48 hours, as the French clubs finally activated a mandatory purchase option that will see the 27‑year‑old striker complete a loan‑with‑obligation deal in Turin. The rapid conclusion follows months of stalled negotiations since his January 2025 loan arrival.

Randal Kolo Muani first arrived in Turin on loan in January 2025 after moving from Paris. A permanent deal could not be reached that summer, prompting PSG to send him on loan to Tottenham Hotspur. The French striker then spent the 2025‑26 season in England before negotiations resumed.

Negotiations intensified in recent months, and both clubs finally agreed on a structure that combines a loan with an obligation to buy at season’s end. This format satisfies Juventus’ desire for flexibility while guaranteeing PSG a future transfer fee. The arrangement allows the Bianconeri to spread the cost over multiple fiscal years.

Le Parisien reports that Kolo Muani is packing his bags and will travel to Turin for medical tests within the next 48 hours. The swift travel plan underscores the urgency felt by Juventus, often referred to as Juve. The rapid conclusion highlights the protracted nature of the deal.

Kolo Muani’s contract with PSG runs until June 2028, and the French club paid €95 million to acquire him from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023. Despite that investment, he failed to make the France squad for the 2026 World Cup. The move therefore represents a chance for a fresh start.

Juventus initially listed his asking price at €50 million, but they aim to bring it down to €43 million through performance‑related bonuses and add‑ons. The reduced figure reflects the club’s intent to balance ambition with fiscal prudence. The deal’s financial terms give the Bianconeri flexibility while securing the 27‑year‑old striker.

If the medical examination proceeds smoothly, the loan‑with‑obligation deal will be formalised, completing Kolo Muani’s permanent transfer to Juventus. Any complications could delay the final paperwork, but both clubs appear committed to finalising the move promptly.
