Thomas Tuchel’s Reactions

Thomas Tuchel said that, although he does not feel a personal impact, “I can imagine that maybe it is for the Manchester City players”. He added that the players have more training time and therefore “surely, I can imagine they talk about it”. Tuchel also described the start of the match as “the worst possible start”, but highlighted that “after 10 or 12 minutes, we were the best team”.

Harry Kane downplayed the link between the accusations and the mistakes, stating that “there was a conversation, but in the end, when we are with England, we put club football aside and it was no different this week”.
