Troyes eye Palermo striker Le Douaron and Lyon prospect Molebe
ESTAC Troyes are reportedly targeting Palermo striker Jérémy Le Douaron and Lyon forward Enzo Molebe as they shape their attacking options for the upcoming Ligue 1 season, Aube‑based club as it prepares to reinforce its front line.
Le Douaron remains under contract with Palermo FC, a club he joined two seasons ago. Both Palermo and Troyes are owned by the City Group, linking the two clubs financially.
During his spell at Stade Brestois, Le Douaron amassed nearly 130 appearances, scoring 20 goals and providing 10 assists. Those figures underline his experience in Ligue 1.
Molebe spent the second half of the 2025‑26 season on loan from Olympique Lyonnais to Montpellier HSC. Troyes consider him a long‑term prospect and hope to secure his services despite limited opportunities in the Rhône region.
Having returned to the top flight after winning the Ligue 2 title, Troyes aim to avoid an immediate drop back to the second tier. The club finished 19th in Ligue 1 in the 2022‑23 season, narrowly missing survival.
Signing a proven Ligue 1 performer like Le Douaron would give Troyes a seasoned goal‑scoring option. His return to France would also allow him to showcase his experience in a familiar league.
Molebe’s youth and potential could add depth and future upside to Troyes’ forward line. Regular first‑team minutes at the Aube club could replace the scarce playing time he had at Olympique Lyonnais.
A move back to France would enable Palermo to recoup value from a player who has spent two seasons in Italy. Meanwhile, the Aube‑based side could nurture Molebe as part of a longer‑term rebuilding plan.
