Transfer frenzy erupts: Juve‑Zirkzee, Inter‑Napoli, Roma‑Koulierakis

In a packed press room, Roberto Mancini and Claudio Ranieri stepped onto the stage to launch their second spell together, with the Marche‑born coach officially resuming his role as Italy manager today. The ceremony also marked former Roma boss Ranieri’s first day as Italy’s technical director, following the chaotic arrival—and swift U‑turn—of Maldini and Leonardo, an episode that lasted just 16 days.

Juventus confirmed they are still weighing options on Canadian striker Jonathan David, noting that while he is not untouchable, no advanced talks have materialised and the situation remains open.

At the same time, Juventus keep Joshua Zirkzee on their radar; the Dutch forward, currently at Manchester United, has shown no desire to leave England, yet Frederic Massara rates him highly and would consider a move if David departs.

Inter and Napoli could soon clash in the market for Moris Valincic, the Croatian right‑back whose contract runs to 2029 and who attracted interest from both clubs during last winter’s window.

Roma have entered negotiations for Konstantinos Koulierakis, the 2003‑born left‑footed centre‑back owned by Wolfsburg until 2029, with a basic agreement already reached on the player’s side before finalising the financial details.

Napoli have laid the groundwork for an agreement with Boca Juniors forward Exequiel Zeballos, a deal that would run to 2031 but is stalled because the club must free up squad space by offloading three or four players before the Argentine’s contract expires on 31 December.

AC Milan are fielding a serious offer from Fenerbahçe for Rafael Leao, with the Turkish side proposing €35‑40 million on a loan with a conditional purchase, while Milan demand at least €50 million plus bonuses and a permanent transfer; Leao reportedly prefers a move to the Premier League or La Liga.

Lazio have floated options for Armando Broja and Niclas Füllkrug, but both names appear headed for rejection as the club finds the proposals unconvincing.

Follow the Azzurri’s pre‑season camp closely, with all five of Italy’s friendlies streamed live on OneFootball, and stay tuned as the transfer market continues to reshape La Serie A landscape.
