Form and stakes for both clubs

Tottenham, under new boss Roberto De Zerbi, have spent £334 million this summer yet sit on zero points after the opening round. Nottingham Forest have collected just one point, leaving both teams eager for a first victory.

De Zerbi’s side is still adapting, with Richarlison the latest signing to challenge for a place, while Omar Marmoush started in attack against Newcastle and Dominic Solanke came off the bench. Midfield sees Conor Gallagher omitted as Sandro Tonali, Matheus Fernandes and Rodrigo Bentancur feature.

Forest rely on Morgan Gibbs‑White in a 3‑4‑2‑1 system, and Dan Ndoye recently scored his first Premier League goal at Anfield. New signing Daniel Muñoz arrived from Crystal Palace, and his starting status for Saturday remains undecided.

A win would give each club its inaugural three points of the campaign, providing a morale boost and early momentum in the league race.
