The situation – Jadon Sancho and Borussia Dortmund's interest

In a bustling café in Dortmund city centre sits the 26‑year‑old Jadon Sancho, while his phone vibrates nonstop. This is the current situation: The English winger is in talks with at least two Premier League clubs about a free transfer, while BVB has expressed its interest.

Premier League clubs show new interest

According to TEAMtalk, the 26‑year‑old Sancho has received new enquiries in recent days and is in talks with at least two Premier League clubs. The names of the clubs have not been disclosed yet, but the Premier League clubs are showing clear interest. Other clubs are also watching the situation closely.

His own options are also in focus: his entourage is considering several possibilities, and he does not have to make an immediate decision. His circle evaluates the offers, while his team selects the best sporting projects.

Borussia Dortmund remains a strong contender

BVB, also known as Borussia Dortmund, has been staying on the ball for a while and still has interest in the Englishman. Sancho can recall Dortmund, where before his move to Manchester United in 2021 he displayed the best form of his career for around £73 million and later returned on loan.

Clubs from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are also exploring the possibility of signing the 26‑year‑old winger. The situation is therefore international, and the clubs from Turkey, Saudi Arabia as well as the United Arab Emirates are closely monitoring the development.

Last year Sancho spent a season on loan at Aston Villa, where he made 39 appearances and scored one goal. This statistic underlines that despite changing environments he regularly finds playing time.

Parallel to the negotiations Borussia Dortmund has made personnel changes: Ethan Nwaneri was loaned from Arsenal, while Giannis Konstantelias is likely to miss most of the season due to injury. These squad developments show that the club is actively working on its future.
