Tawfik Bentayeb returns from concussion, Ambros faces a Real star

After a concussion suffered against Zulte Waregem, the Mauves' striker, Tawfik Bentayeb, returned to training and was selected in the Moroccan national team, where he stepped onto the pitch for six minutes against Lesotho. The same day, the young Lukáš Ambros made his debut for the Czech Republic against England.

The blow to the face sent Bentayeb to the emergency department, where he was examined for a concussion. In accordance with FIFA's medical protocol, he followed an individual rehabilitation program for one week before returning to training.

Lukáš Ambros received his first call‑up to the Czech national team, debuting against Luka Modrić's Croatia. He was then started on the left side in the final half‑hour against England, where he duelled with Trent Alexander‑Arnold despite the 0‑2 defeat.

Oleg Reabciuk, for his part, played the full match between Moldova and the Faroe Islands, which ended in a 1‑1 draw. Moldova sits at the bottom of the group, level with Kazakhstan.
