Stuttgart's unbeaten Champions League run ends against Galatasaray

On Tuesday afternoon in Istanbul, Stuttgart saw their unbeaten Champions League run end as Galatasaray secured a 2‑0 victory at Rams Park, handing the German side their first loss in the competition's fourth round, today the premier European Liga overall.
Com seven points, STUTTGART sit in tenth place, slipping out of the group’s top eight. GALATASARAY, with six points, occupy eighteenth position in the Champions League table.
Russian striker Aleksey Batrakov opened the scoring, with reports placing his first goal at either the 11th or 12th minute of the first half. Data: 3 November 2026 (Tuesday). His second strike is similarly disputed, recorded at either the 14th or 15th minute, giving the visitors a 2‑0 lead.
The opening goal followed a Roland Sallai cross that was cleared before Batrakov collected the ball and fired into the corner of goalkeeper Marko Bredlow’s net. The later effort came after a pass from Sánchez, with Batrakov again beating Bredlow, this time between his legs.
Stuttgart lost midfielder Atakan Karazor to injury in the first minute, reducing their options early on. Later, substitute Chris Führich entered the match but was withdrawn after an off‑side ruling.
The opening minutes were physical, highlighted by Jamie Leweling’s effort that struck the aluminium frame twice before being cleared. Stuttgart struggled to create clear chances in the final metres, ultimately paying the price.
GALATASARAY generated several clear opportunities, yet striker Victor Osimhen failed to convert any. Their dominance in the attacking third was enough to seal the win despite the missed chances.
