Club Brugge is weighing a potential summer exit for Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika while hoping to secure a substantial fee, even though the player’s market value of €23 million on Transfermarkt makes him appear an unusually cheap target.

Club Brugge is in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt about a possible transfer of Raphael Onyedika, the 25‑year‑old Nigeriaan who has become a regular in the midfield.
Onyedika’s contract runs until the summer of 2027, prompting the Belgian side to decide whether to extend the deal or sell him this summer.
According to , Frankfurt is aiming to capture the player for at least ten million euros, a figure that would still be below his €23 million valuation.
"Naar verluidt heeft Eintracht Frankfurt een voorstel ingediend bij Club Brugge voor Raphael Onyedika. Er zijn onderhandelingen gaande, terwijl ook diverse andere clubs interesse tonen in de middenvelder", said transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on social media Friday.
Eintracht Frankfurt has monitored Onyedika for two transfer windows and now appears ready to meet the price that Club Brugge deems acceptable.
Other clubs, including Galatasaray and several English sides, have also shown interest in the Nigeriaan midfielder.
Club Brugge originally signed Onyedika in 2022 for nearly ten million euros from FC Midtjylland, and he has since become a key figure in the team’s midfield.
The Belgian club must now reach a conclusion – whether to renew the contract or finalize a sale – as negotiations with Frankfurt continue.
