One user wrote: “You should all be ashamed, both the league and you,” another demanded: “It’s time for the club to start fighting for our safety as well.” Some users had already warned beforehand that the storm had been forecast.

Next weekend the Spanish La Liga continues with the 7th round. Athletic Bilbao will face Deportivo Alavés, coached by former Dortmund manager Edin Terzić. Levante will play away at FC Villarreal a day later.
