The club Rouge et Noir has identified Ndjantou as a target to reinforce its attack in this late Mercato. Stade Rennais, alongside Havre, Toulouse, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and several Italian and Spanish sides such as Côme and Espanyol Barcelona, are listed among the interested parties.

Quentin’s profile, described as highly coveted, has attracted attention after several strong performances before his early‑year injury. The Stade Rennais camp now knows that a definitive transfer will not materialise, but a loan remains a realistic option.

Loan versus permanent: PSG's stance

Paris Saint‑Germain has opened the door to a loan, with a possible departure by next Tuesday. According to the X account @PSGInside_Actu, the Paris club does not wish to sell the youngster this summer but is prepared to let him gain playing time elsewhere.

“The preferred hypothesis could therefore be a loan, so he can get minutes, chain matches and continue his progression at the highest level,” the PSG follower explained. Paris must now decide quickly whether to keep Ndjantou in the squad or send him out on loan.
