Squad changes: Havertz and Musiala depart, Wirtz and Burkardt arrive
National team coach Jürgen Klopp has to reshuffle the lineup for the Nations‑League‑duel against Greece because Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz are injured. Musiala, who plays for FC Bayern Munich, already suffered a muscle fiber tear in his right thigh during warm‑up. Havertz, from Arsenal, sustained a muscle strain in his left rear thigh in the 30th minute of the 1‑1 draw against the Netherlands.
Injuries force squad changes
The examinations on Thursday night confirmed Musiala's tear, while Havertz was already substituted on Thursday in the UEFA Nations‑League‑match against the Netherlands. Both players will leave the national team early on Friday after their return from Amsterdam.
Instead, Florian Wirtz and Jonathan Burkardt will join the squad earlier than planned. Originally they were supposed to arrive on Sunday with the second squad for games three and four, but Klopp can now use them for the international match on Sunday in Augsburg.

The match kicks off at 20:45 and will be broadcast live on ARD. This gives the German team two replacement players, while the two attacking forces from the Premier League and the Bundesliga are unavailable.
Klopp emphasized that the situation tests the depth of the squad, but that Wirtz and Burkardt bring the necessary quality. He hopes the team remains competitive despite the absences.
